During a flight journey, always wear loose, comfortable clothes. Try and plan your naps in accordance to the time of the destination. Wear earplugs, an eye mask and use a pillow if needed.

If you are travelling long distance by air, keep drinking a lot of water. Remember it is key to feeling well during air travel. Airplanes are so dry that it can give you a bloated feeling.

If you are travelling to the hills and have motion sickness, make sure you have light food. Don''t leave empty stomach. If you have a medicine, make sure you have it 2 hours prior to the departure.

While travelling abroad, some of you use alcohol to get sleep, but this actually disrupts the normal sleep cycles and can prolong jet lag.

It is not recommended that you use sleeping tablets during your flight in case of an emergency.

To adjust to the different time zone while travelling abroad, avoid alcohol or caffeinated drinks for a few hours before sleeping at night.
