''A perfect blend of tranquillity and scenic beauty, Mukteshwar has a lot to offer. Take a look.''

Distance from Delhi : 330 kms

Time taken to reach : About 6 hours

How to reach the destination : By Rail: Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest railhead. You could avail Ranikhet Exp, Utr Samprk Ex or Shatabdi from Delhi to reach Kathgodam which is about 62 kms from Mukteshwar. You could then take a cab from there.
By Road: You could take NH 24 and turn left at Old Moradabad Pass. From there, you have to drive to Major District Road. Finally you have to get on to NH 87 to reach Mukteshwar.

Why go the distance : The tranquillity and the scenic beauty is sure to engulf you in an undeniable holiday mood. Besides, you can get an enchanting view of the Himalayas from a nearby hill station from Sitla. The 350-year old Shiva temple, also known as Mukteshwar Dham, is a must-see spot in Mukteshwar. Make sure you don’t miss out on the Mukteshwar Inspection Bunglow, which is an architectural wonder, and Chauli ki Jaali (behind Mukteshwar temple).
To reach the temple, you have to climb a series of steps made of stone. If you are adventurous enough, you could also trek your way up there.

Boarding : There are various kinds of hotels, resorts and homestays to choose from. To name a few, you could try Te Aroha, Mountain Trail Resort, Frozen Woods, amongst others. For homestays, you could try Mystic where all meals are provided.
You could also tell them your food preference.
You also have Madhuvan, where rooms are yet to be developed but its a must visit for some herbal tea.
