A Trip to Egypt, Greece & Turkey (In Pics)

Rating :
''Nature, culture & history - there's something for everyone here. Find out for yourselves.''

Greece : ATHENS: 2 nights here with 3 island cruises are more than enough.
Places that you have to visit/see
• The Constitution of Greece (Sintagma)
• Old Parliament House
• Statue of General Theodoros Kolokotronis cast in bronze
• The National Library of Greece
• Herod Atticus Street
• The PRESIDENTIAL PALACE which is the official residence of the President of the Hellenic Republic
• Acropolis; of course the Acropolis Museum
• The Parthenon, which is the a temple in Acropolis
• Plaka district, which is famous for shopping and entertainment.

Then you do a Delphi Tour, the centre of the Ancient world. You can drive through the fertile plain of Boeotia, cross THEBES. This breathes history. Remember the tragedy of king Oedipus - LEVADIA and ARACHOVA? If you are a shopaholic, you can explore the colorful rugs and carpets here. In the Delphi Tour, you should visit the TREASURY OF THE ATHENIANS, the TEMPLE OF APOLLO and the MUSEUM.

A visit to Mykonos and Santorini islands is a must.

Istanbul (Turkey) : Typical attractions are The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Spice Market, Grand Bazaar and the cruise on Bosphorus (there are both day and night cruises available). If you have spare time in Istanbul, you could also do a half day trip to Princess Islands in the Marmara Sea.

Our recommendation is you also do Cappadocia, the city of caves. It is best known for its landscape – the cave-like structures are a result of volcanic eruptions in past -- underground cities, canyons and houses carved in the rocks. Here you must, must stay in a CAVE HOTEL, just for the RICH EXPERIENCE. Its like staying in a real cave, where no rooms are similar. You should also do hot air balloon ride and the see Sufi Dance here.

Then head to Cairo : You have to see
• The three Pyramids of Giza. After all, it is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
• Below the pyramids, you will visit the Mysterious Great sphinx and the valley temple of Khephren.
• If you have spare time, you can also visit Memphis and Sakkara.
Of course, you should keep some time for Nile cruise, which will cover most of the important Egyptian places including Luxor.
