''Wilderness, trekking and a lot of fun at Nag Tibba. Don’t miss it!''

We love long weekends, don't we? Travel with us to Nagtibba on Good Friday weekend where Oak, Rhododendrons and Deodar trees cover every slope, where gushing rivers break the silence... Break away from the bustling city life and the ever-lasting fight of finding mobile network.

WHEN : April 3-5, 2015

WHERE: Nagtibba, Uttarakhand

ITINERARY : April 2: Departure from Delhi to Dehradun by Volvo or taxi depending on the group size
BASE Drive/3 hrs & Trek/4-5 hrs
Arrival at Dehradun, freshen up and from there we drive to Pantwari (3 hours).
From Pantwari, we trek to Nag Tibba base camp (4-5 hours).
Walking into the wilderness, take in the panoramic views of the range.
The trail is reasonably steep yet easy to hike on.
We make a pit stop for lunch.
Evening at leisure. Relish a sumptuous meal by the bonfire under a star spangled sky. Overnight in tents

Day 2 : NAGTIBBA BASE (2600m) – NAGTIBBA TOP (3050m) APRIL 4 2015 Jungle Campsite (2500m) Trek/3-4 hrs
Wake up to the chirping of birds instead of a shrieking alarm and blink in the bright sunlight at the gorgeous peaks before you.
After an early breakfast, gear up for a two-km hike to Nag Tibba top (3,050 mts). Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Neelkanth and Black peak are some of the famous peaks that you see from here.
Coffee and conversations over a packed picnic lunch at the top. Afternoon at leisure, soak in the views, walk into the wild or relax your tired muscles with a brief siesta.
We then head for a hike for about two to three kms to reach the campsite.
Bonding over dinner! One of the best part about camping is the outdoor meals, freshly prepared over wood fire. Oh they are so delicious! Reason: because the real cook uses the fire!
